An essay I wrote was officially published in a book of selected essays of high school kids in Western America. No one seems proud, or as happy as I. Except for my mother, who was jumping up and down, more than I was. And let me tell you, that's a lot of jumping.

I'm preparing essays and short stories to submit into Lit Fest. I'm extremely excited. The more I submit, the higher chance I have of getting in.

Sadly, my life gets as exciting as that.
